02 - What kinds of rail-trail studies exist?
Advocacy groups that either support or oppose the construction of rail trails publish extensively. However, because these groups take advocacy positions, they may not be as reliable or unbiased as studies done by academics or under the auspices of government agencies. Many studies and additional information are on the RTCAC website and in the Goodnow library. Many studies are available via the web.
