Park & Recreation Department

The Park and Recreation Department offers a comprehensive and varied program of public recreation activities, services, and resources for residents. Programs are self-sustaining and offer an opportunity for quality use of leisure time in a productive and healthy manner. Recreation facilities include the Atkinson Pool, Fairbank Community Center, toddler playground, tennis courts, basketball courts, sand volleyball court, outdoor skating area (weather permitting), and fields for baseball, field hockey, lacrosse, softball, and soccer. Major recreation areas include Davis Field, Frank G. Feeley Field, and Haskell Recreation Area.

Fun Run/ Senior Stride: 12:00 PM

Fun Run/ Senior Stride Cost: $10.00

 

Tshirts: Register by October 7th to be guaranteed a Tshirt! T-shirts will be given to both 5K and Fun Run participants.

 

Join us for our first Halloween 5K, Fun Run/Senior Stride! This is a great event for the whole family: run, walk, cheer, or volunteer! The 5K will be a timed event starting at 11:00 AM followed by a 1 Mile Fun Run/Senior Stride around our paved Haskell Field loop. Free refreshments available for race participants.

 

Costumes are encouraged, so get in the spirit!
