Results of Outreach to the Oldest Survey
The Sudbury Senior Center conducted a survey of residents aged 85 and over in 2011. The Outreach to the Oldest Report findings indicated the majority get out of the house regularly, are physically active in some way, do not have transportation problems and do not need financial assistance. A small number of our survey participants reported that they have some needs that are not being met, for example, some need assistance with yard work and podiatry and some are having difficulty with getting out of the house. The Senior Center staff have been working to provide assistance with finding help for these types of needs.
