| How do I cancel my monthly membership? Monthly memberships can be cancelled at any time after the initial 3 month minimum commitment. Either send a letter in writing or an email to gouldingt@sudbury.ma.us stating that you would like to cancel your membership by the last day of the month. All of the monthly memberships automatically get renewed on or around the 10th business day of the month. If you wish to discontinue your membership you may do so by notifying the Atkinson Pool in writing before the last day of the month. And at this time the agreement shall become null and void. If notification is not received by this time, the member will be charged for the ensuing month. Membership cancellations must be done in writing; we do not accept verbal cancellations. This is done primarily to ensure that the cancellations are handled properly and to reduce the risk of one getting lost. |
| How do I obtain a membership to the pool?
All that you need to do is stop by the pool and fill out a membership application and we can process your membership and activate your membership that day. The process usually takes about 10 minutes. Unfortunately at this time we cannot process memberships over the internet.

| I am interested in a youth swim team for my child; how do I go about finding information?
Website: www.sudburyswimteam.org
The Sudbury Swim Team is a competitive swim team open to the youth of Sudbury and surrounding towns. The team aspires to create an environment where the swimmers enjoy the experience of competitive swimming through improvement of their stroke and racing techniques, improved personal race times, appreciation of the team friendships and team spirit. To this end, the program is designed to maximize personal enjoyment and improvement. We hope that each swimmer will take full advantage of the team experience. The Sudbury Youth Swim Team is open to swimmers age 7 and up who demonstrate proficiency in the freestyle, backstroke and the breaststroke. Children who are 6 years old are welcome to try out for the team but unless they are exceptionally strong swimmers, the team will most likely recommend waiting until they are 7 years old. All new swimmers are asked to attend a Coach's assessment prior to the beginning of the season at the Atkinson Pool to determine their readiness to participate on a competitive swim team. The assessment will involve the child demonstrating their swimming skills and having an opportunity to meet and talk with the coach. We will not accept swimmers who need basic swimming instruction.
