"Matter of Balance" Training

A "Matter of Balance" training will be offered to community volunteers interested in helping others to learn about balance and preventing falls.  What a great opportunity to learn more for yourself while also keeping your brain sharp as you then teach others!  This training opportunity will be offered at BayPath Elder Services, 33 Boston Post Road, West, in Marlborough on Tuesday and Wednesday, June 12 and 13 from 10:30AM-4:00PM.

This free training session will provide you with the skills and materials to coach the "A Matter of Balance: Managing Concerns about Falls" class.  The Sudbury Senior Center is looking to offer this class in the winter of 2012 or spring of 2013.  The class helps seniors reduce fear of falling and stop the fear of falling cycle, and increase activity levels.  For more information about this exciting opportunity, please contact Joyce Raum at (508) 573-7239 or
