Inspections of business property (as well as real property) are mandated to be conducted on a cyclical basis by the Department of Revenue. In conjunction with that mandate, businesses which have not been visited by a representative of the assessors office within the past 10 years may expect to be called on for a quick review. The visit should take only a few minutes. The purpose of the program is to verify data quality.
