{"id":324,"date":"2015-12-23T15:00:25","date_gmt":"2015-12-23T20:00:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sudbury.ma.us\/assessors\/?p=324"},"modified":"2015-12-23T16:14:13","modified_gmt":"2015-12-23T21:14:13","slug":"fiscal-year-2016-assessed-values-and-tax-rates","status":"public-archive","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sudbury.ma.us\/assessors\/2015\/12\/23\/fiscal-year-2016-assessed-values-and-tax-rates\/","title":{"rendered":"Fiscal Year 2016 Assessed Values and Tax Rates"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The FY 16 assessed values and tax rates are now certified.&nbsp; The Residential tax rate has been set at: $17.80 per $1,000.00 of assessed value and the Commercial\/Industrial\/Personal Property tax rate has been set at:&nbsp; $25.11 per $1,000.00 of assessed value.<\/p>\n<p>As you review the current Fiscal Year 2016&nbsp;&nbsp;property assessments we would like you to be aware of the following information and dates.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The current property tax year is Fiscal Year 2016.<\/li>\n<li>Fiscal Year 2016 began July 1, 2015&nbsp;and&nbsp;ends&nbsp;June 30, 2016.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Assessed valuations are established&nbsp;as of a fixed point in time each year.<\/li>\n<li>The assessment date for Fiscal Year&nbsp;2016 is January 1, 2015.<\/li>\n<li>In order to&nbsp;estimate fair market value as of January 1, 2015 an extensive sales analysis was conducted.&nbsp;The sales analyzed occurred in Sudbury during calendar year 2014.
