The box is located beside the U.S. Postal Box.&nbsp; If utilizing the payment box option, please label the envelope Assessors Office, Attn: Cynthia Gerry.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #212529;font-family: 'Segoe UI',sans-serif\">Some of Sudbury&#8217;s moderate and low income senior property owners may qualify for a measure of property tax relief under the provisions of the Sudbury Senior Means Tested Exemption Program.&nbsp;&nbsp;The following eligibility criteria must be satisfied in order to be considered for exemption.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #212529;font-family: 'Segoe UI',sans-serif\">Qualifying Age- Minimum 65 as of December 31, 2019.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #212529;font-family: 'Segoe UI',sans-serif\">Ownership and Residency in Sudbury- At least 10 consecutive years.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #212529;font-family: 'Segoe UI',sans-serif\">FY 2020 Assessed Valuation of the Sudbury home- Not greater than $820,886.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #212529;font-family: 'Segoe UI',sans-serif\">Income- according to Massachusetts State Income Tax Credit Schedule CB for&nbsp; Calendar Year 2019:&nbsp; *Line 9 Schedule CB Income*<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #212529;font-family: 'Segoe UI',sans-serif\">Taxpayers Filing a Joint Return:&nbsp; $90,000.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #212529;font-family: 'Segoe UI',sans-serif\">Taxpayer Filing a Single Return: $60,000.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #212529;font-family: 'Segoe UI',sans-serif\">Filing as Head of Household:&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;$75,000.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #212529;font-family: 'Segoe UI',sans-serif\">In addition to the above an applicant must not own &#8220;excessive assets&#8221; that place him\/her outside the intended eligibility pool of applicants.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #212529;font-family: 'Segoe UI',sans-serif\">For further information and application material please refer to the attachments following this news article or contact the Assessors Office <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #212529;font-family: 'Segoe UI',sans-serif\">by phone:&nbsp; 978-639-3395 or by&nbsp;email to: <a href=\"mailto:gerryc@sudbury.ma.us\">gerryc@sudbury.ma.us<\/a>&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Important:&nbsp; Filing deadline is September 15, 2020.&nbsp; Completed application packets may be mailed to the Assessors Office or deposited in black payment box located in the Flynn Building parking lot (278 Old Sudbury Rd).
