Associate Members sit, when individually called upon, as alternates on the full Zoning Board of Appeals, which makes decisions on applications for Special Permits and Variances under the Town\u2019s Zoning Bylaw. Associate Members also serve on the Earth Removal Board which grants Earth Removal Permits in accordance with the Town\u2019s General Bylaw. Desired qualifications include having resided in Sudbury for a period of time, having served on another Town board\/committee, having an interest in zoning, and having engineering, architectural, or design expertise.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Calibri\">All interested residents are welcome to submit a&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/sudbury.ma.us\/boardofappeals\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/257\/2019\/03\/Volunteer-Application.pdf?version=0ca8f522a6188fdb54c4020977fe6c5a\">Volunteer Application<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/sudbury.ma.us\/boardofappeals\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/257\/2019\/03\/VolunteerApplication-ZBA.pdf?version=52699974cc593a8736c1130f61fec726\">.&nbsp;<\/a><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri\"> Applications will be accepted until the position is filled.
