{"id":26,"date":"2011-02-17T13:58:21","date_gmt":"2011-02-17T13:58:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sudbury.ma.us\/cho\/2011\/02\/17\/sudbury-seeks-consultant-to-assist-in-establishing-a-regional-housing-services-office\/"},"modified":"2011-02-17T13:58:21","modified_gmt":"2011-02-17T13:58:21","slug":"sudbury-seeks-consultant-to-assist-in-establishing-a-regional-housing-services-office","status":"public-archive","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sudbury.ma.us\/cho\/2011\/02\/17\/sudbury-seeks-consultant-to-assist-in-establishing-a-regional-housing-services-office\/","title":{"rendered":"Sudbury seeks consultant to assist in establishing a Regional Housing Services Office"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\n\tThe Town of Sudbury is accepting letters of interest from qualified consultants to assist the Town with providing housing administrative services in conjunction with the establishment of a Regional Housing Services Office (<span class=\"scayt-misspell\" data-scayt_word=\"RHSO\" data-scaytid=\"2\">RHSO<\/span>).&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\n\tThe Towns of Bedford, Concord, Lexington, Lincoln, Sudbury, and Weston have just signed an Inter-Municipal Agreement to share housing administrative services, anticipating a benefit in preserving their investments in affordable housing through proactive monitoring and leveraging regional expertise.&nbsp; Sudbury, as the lead community, will establish the Regional Housing Services Office, to deliver the agreed upon services.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\n\tThe establishment of the <span class=\"scayt-misspell\" data-scayt_word=\"RHSO\" data-scaytid=\"4\">RHSO<\/span> is the result of two years effort sponsored by the Metropolitan Area Planning Council (<span class=\"scayt-misspell\" data-scayt_word=\"MAPC\" data-scaytid=\"8\">MAPC<\/span>) and led by the Town Managers of the participating towns.&nbsp; Sudbury participated in both these efforts as a municipality with experience to share, and expertise to provide.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\n\tThe <span class=\"scayt-misspell\" data-scayt_word=\"RHSO\" data-scaytid=\"6\">RHSO<\/span> will be staffed by the Community Housing Manager, and contract assistance from a&nbsp;qualified persons, as described in the <a href=\"\/documents\/download.asp?id=6296\">RFQ &#8211; Community Housing Specialist<\/a>.&nbsp; Resumes with Letters of Interest will be accepted until the position is filled&nbsp;and should be sent to the Planning and Community Development Office, 278 Old Sudbury Road, Sudbury, MA, or emailed to <a href=\"mailto:rustb@sudbury.ma.us\"><span class=\"scayt-misspell\" data-scayt_word=\"rustb@sudbury.ma.us\" data-scaytid=\"1\">rustb@sudbury.ma.us<\/span><\/a>.
