Positions Available for the March 27, 2023 Annual Town Election
Deadline to file intentions and take out nomination papers to run for office at the 2023 Annual Town Election is February 1, 2023
Nomination papers and packets for Town offices will be available, Thursday, January 5th, 2023 at the Sudbury Town Clerk’s office.
Interested candidates must return their completed nomination papers on or before Friday, February 3, 2023. The open positions are:
Select Board – One 3-year term
Board of Assessors – One 3-year term
Goodnow Library Trustees – Two 3-year terms
Board of Health – One 3-year term
Park and Recreation Commission – One 3-year term
Planning Board – One 3-year term
Sudbury Housing Authority – One 5-year term
Sudbury School Committee – Two 3-year terms, One 1-year term (to fill a vacancy)
Lincoln Sudbury Regional District School Committee – Two 3-year terms
Nomination papers and packets for Town offices will be available on January 4th at the Town Clerk’s Office for incumbents as well as new candidates. If a candidate is not able to personally come to the Town Clerk’s Office to file intentions to run for office and pick up the nomination papers, the candidate should contact the Town Clerk’s office by phone at 978-639-3351 or email at email@example.com.
Candidates for Lincoln-Sudbury Regional District School Committee may obtain nomination papers at the high school from the District Clerk, Donna Cakert at Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School, 390 Lincoln Road in Sudbury. Please call the District Clerk at 978-443-9961 x2334 with questions.
