{"id":1184,"date":"2018-03-30T08:15:22","date_gmt":"2018-03-30T12:15:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sudbury.ma.us\/clerk\/?p=1184"},"modified":"2018-03-30T09:04:14","modified_gmt":"2018-03-30T13:04:14","slug":"dog-licensing-and-census","status":"public-archive","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sudbury.ma.us\/clerk\/2018\/03\/30\/dog-licensing-and-census\/","title":{"rendered":"Dog License Renewal Deadline Monday, April 2"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>Dog Licensing <\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>All 2017 dog licenses expired December 31, 2017<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">Here is some information to assist you in obtaining a 2018 license for your dog:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\"><span class=\"marginB10\"><span class=\"marginB5\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.mass.gov\/eea\/agencies\/agr\/animal-health\/rabies-control-program\/rabies-clinics.html\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong>Rabies Clinics in Massachusetts<\/strong><\/span><\/a><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\"><span class=\"marginB10\"><span class=\"marginB5\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/sudbury.ma.us\/clerk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/270\/2014\/12\/DogLicenseRenewalForm-2015-Fillable.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"color: #0066cc\">Form for Licensing your Dog<\/span><\/span><\/a><\/strong> <strong>:<\/strong>This form can be obtained at this link, was&nbsp;included in the 2018 Annual Town Census mailed to residents&nbsp;on&nbsp; January 16 and&nbsp;is&nbsp;also available in the Town Clerk&#8217;s Office.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\"><span class=\"marginB10\"><span class=\"marginB5\"><strong>Extended hours for dog licensing:&nbsp;<\/strong>In addition to being open until 7:00 p.m. every Tuesday evening, the Town Clerk&#8217;s Office will remain open on Monday, March 26 until 7:30 p.m. and&nbsp;on Monday, April 2 until 8:00 p.m. for dog licensing.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\"><span class=\"marginB10\"><span class=\"marginB5\"><strong>Proof of current rabies vaccination:<\/strong> Proof is required to obtain a license.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"marginB10\"><span class=\"marginB5\"><strong>Licensing fees:&nbsp;<\/strong>$15 for neutered\/spayed dogs and $20 for unaltered dogs.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\"><span class=\"marginB10\"><span class=\"marginB5\"><strong>January 1&nbsp;&#8211; April 2: Licensing period with no late fees<\/strong> Because March 31 falls on a Saturday this year and the Town Clerk&#8217;s Office is not open, all required documents <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">received<\/span> by the Town Clerk&#8217;s Office&nbsp;no later than&nbsp;Monday, April 2 by 8:00 p.m., will be considered on time and dogs&nbsp;licensed without&nbsp;a late fee.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\"><span class=\"marginB10\"><span class=\"marginB5\"><strong>April 3 and later<\/strong>: $25 late fee per dog added to cost to renew a dog license.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>Street Listing (Census Form)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">The&nbsp;Town Census (Annual Street Listing) was&nbsp;mailed to all&nbsp;households on January 16.&nbsp;If a&nbsp;household does not receive a census form by February 1,&nbsp;please contact the&nbsp;Town Clerk\u2019s Office at 978-639-3351 and a duplicate form will be mailed.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">Sudbury residents should verify or correct&nbsp;information on this census form, sign, date and return&nbsp;it to the Town Clerk&#8217;s Office as required by State law.
