For further information call (978) 639-3351.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Absentee Ballot Application Deadline is 12 NOON on Monday, September 8, 2014.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Absentee Ballot Application is for use by:<br \/>\nA <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">registered voter<\/span> who will be unable to vote at the polls on election day due to:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>absence from your city or town during normal polling hours; or<\/li>\n<li>physical disability preventing you from going to the polling place; or<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">religious belief;<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">OR<\/p>\n<p>A <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>non-registered voter<\/strong><\/span> who is:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Massachusetts citizen absent from the state; or<\/li>\n<li>an active member of the armed forces or merchant marines, their spouse or dependent; or<\/li>\n<li>a person confined in a correctional facility or a jail, except if by reason of felony conviction.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Click link for the <a href=\"\/documents\/download.asp?id=3799\">Absentee Ballot Application<\/a> or the <a href=\"\/documents\/download.asp?id=3800\">Absentee Ballot Application<\/a> by a Family Member<\/p>\n<p>All absentee ballots returned by mail or hand delivered to the Town Clerk&#8217;s office must be received before the polls close on Election Day. Ballots may be returned to the Town Clerk&#8217;s office only. They cannot be accepted at the polling locations on Election Day.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Please note<\/strong>: Absentee ballots that are mailed to the voter can either be mailed back to the town clerk or hand-delivered to town hall by the voter or a family member. G. L. c. 54, \u252c\u00ba 92.
