The BRTF was established June 19, 2007, by the Bd. of Sel. with appointment terms not to exceed two years from date of appointment. The mission of the Task Force was to study and determine, both in the short term and over the long term, ways to enhance revenues or reduce expenses beyond what the Town is already doing.
On May 13, 2009, the Board of Selectmen extended the Task Force's appointment term to June 30, 2009, to allow them the opportunity to complete and finalize a report. The Task Force is now officially dissolved, with the appreciation of the Board of Selectmen and Town Manager for its efforts on behalf of the Town.
