{"id":142,"date":"2013-07-16T17:17:17","date_gmt":"2013-07-16T21:17:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sudbury.ma.us\/conservation\/2013\/07\/16\/conservation-commission-issues-request-for-proposals-for-several-town-agricultural-fields\/"},"modified":"2013-07-16T17:17:17","modified_gmt":"2013-07-16T21:17:17","slug":"conservation-commission-issues-request-for-proposals-for-several-town-agricultural-fields","status":"public-archive","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sudbury.ma.us\/conservation\/2013\/07\/16\/conservation-commission-issues-request-for-proposals-for-several-town-agricultural-fields\/","title":{"rendered":"Conservation Commission Issues Request for Proposals for Several Town Agricultural Fields"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\n\t&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\">\n\tPUBLIC NOTICE<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\">\n\tREQUEST FOR PROPOSALS<\/p>\n<p>\n\t&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\n\tThe Sudbury Conservation Commission is soliciting proposals for the agricultural use of several fields on three town-owned conservation lands in Sudbury.&nbsp; Proposals may be submitted for one or more of these fields.&nbsp; Fields are as follows:<\/p>\n<p>\n\t&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\n\tField #1<\/p>\n<p>\n\tDutton Road at Carding Mill Pond&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Approximately 4 Acres<\/p>\n<p>\n\t&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\n\tField #2<\/p>\n<p>\n\tLincoln Meadows South &amp; Root Cellar&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Approximately 14 Acres<\/p>\n<p>\n\t&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\n\tField #3<\/p>\n<p>\n\tPiper Farm fields off Fieldstone Farm Road&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Approximately 3 &ndash; 7 Acres<\/p>\n<p>\n\t&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\n\tThe proposals for the use of these fields must be submitted by 5:00pm on Monday, July 29, 2013 to the Conservation Commission at 275 Old Lancaster Road, or the Town Clerk at Town Hall, Concord Rd., Sudbury MA.<\/p>\n<p>\n\t&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\n\tInformation regarding the available parcels may be obtained from the Conservation Commission at 978-443-2209 x1370.&nbsp; Call if you wish to inspect the properties prior to bidding.<\/p>\n<p>\n\t&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\n\tThe successful proposal will result in the negotiation of a License Agreement for a term of up to five years with an option to renew for additional five year periods, up to 20 years maximum, at the discretion of the Conservation Commission.&nbsp; The successful proposal will offer both a monetary payment to the Town as well as improvements to the agricultural capability of the land.
