{"id":579,"date":"2020-04-15T14:26:48","date_gmt":"2020-04-15T18:26:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sudbury.ma.us\/conservation\/?p=579"},"modified":"2021-07-15T15:31:14","modified_gmt":"2021-07-15T19:31:14","slug":"special-covid-19-trail-protocol","status":"public-archive","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sudbury.ma.us\/conservation\/2020\/04\/15\/special-covid-19-trail-protocol\/","title":{"rendered":"Special Covid-19 Trail Protocol"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Sudbury is fortunate to be able to provide the public an escape to its precious open spaces during the COVID-19 crisis.<\/p>\n<p>To keep these public spaces safe for all trail users:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Please comply with state and federal orders regarding public activities.<\/li>\n<li>Please follow guidelines recommended by government health agencies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In order to observe these guidelines, the Commission has implemented the following protocols to remain in place until further notice:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span class=\"marginB10\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong>All dogs must be on leash at all times<\/strong><\/span>. Our trails are receiving heavier than usual traffic. Unleashed dogs that approach others can cause close interactions that can put trail users at risk of transmitting COVID-19.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"marginB10\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong>All trail users must maintain a six foot separation from other trail users at all times<\/strong><\/span>. Practice recommended social\/physical distancing on trail by stepping aside so others can pass while keeping distance and waiting for groups coming from the opposite direction to pass bridges and boardwalks before proceeding.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"marginB10\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Do not touch or use benches, map boxes, kiosks, or other structures<\/span><\/strong>.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Please park in designated parking areas only. If parking lot is full, check our online maps at: <a href=\"http:\/\/sudbury.ma.us\/conservation_lands\/\">(https:\/\/sudbury.ma.us\/conservation_lands\/<\/a>) to find another parking area or consider exploring a different property.<\/p>\n<p>Our ability to keep these trails open will rely on our visitors&#8217; compliance with these protocol.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>We all in this together.
