\n\tREQUEST FOR PROPOSALS<\/o:p><\/font><\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

\n\tAGRICULTURAL LICENSES<\/font><\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

\n\t <\/font><\/o:p><\/p>\n

\n\t <\/font><\/o:p><\/p>\n

\n\tThe Sudbury Conservation Commission is soliciting proposals for the agricultural use of three town-owned farm fields on conservation land in Sudbury. These lands are currently licensed for agricultural use on licenses which expire April 30, 2012.   <\/span>These fields include approximately: 6 acres at Davis Farm off Rt<\/span>. 117; 19 acres at Poor Farm Meadow on Marlboro Rd.; and 6 acres at Barton Farm off Marlboro Rd.<\/o:p><\/font><\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

\n\t <\/font><\/o:p><\/p>\n

\n\tIn addition, two fields on the Piper Farm conservation land are being made available for the first time for agricultural use.  <\/span>These fields are located off Rice and Fieldstone Farm Roads and total approximately<\/o:p><\/font><\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

\n\tthree acres.  <\/span>The suitability of these two fields for agricultural uses is unknown.<\/o:p><\/font><\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

\n\t <\/font><\/o:p><\/p>\n

\n\tProposer(s) shall offer both a monetary payment to the Town as well as improvements to the agricultural capability of the land.  <\/span>Town residents will be given preference in the awarding of the Licenses. The successful proposal(s) will result in the negotiation of License Agreements for a term of up to five years with an option to renew for an additional five years at the discretion of the Conservation Commission.  <\/span><\/o:p><\/font><\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

\n\t <\/font><\/o:p><\/p>\n

\n\tThe proposals for the use of any or all of these fields must be submitted in writing by 5:00pm on March 21, 2012 to the Conservation Commission at 275 Old Lancaster Road, or the Town Clerk at Town Hall, Concord Rd., Sudbury MA.<\/o:p><\/font><\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

\n\t <\/font><\/o:p><\/p>\n

\n\tInformation regarding the available parcels and maps showing the field locations may be obtained from the Conservation Commission at 978-443-2209 x1370.<\/o:p><\/font><\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

\n\tThe Town reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, or any portion of any proposal submitted in response to this Invitation to Bid.<\/o:p><\/font><\/font><\/font><\/p>\n
