Sudbury Community Gardens <\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

This is an invitation for gardeners who would like to grow vegetables and flowers this summer in a sunny location with rich soil – Sudbury\u2019s Lincoln Meadows. Garden plots at Lincoln Meadows, located on Lincoln Road, Sudbury, at the base of the Sudbury Valley Trustees\u2019 scenic Round Hill are available through the Sudbury Conservation Commission. Plots may be rented by residents of neighboring towns as well!<\/p>\n

Each 30\u2019 x 30\u2019 plot costs $20.00 to cover plowing, manure, staking and other incidental expenses. Plots for organic and inorganic gardening. There is plenty of off road parking for gardeners by the entry through the gate next to the small Lincoln Meadows parking lot. A kiosk with a posted plot map provides guidance to the area and a hand pump provides water into early summer.<\/p>\n

Garden plots are open to planting once the field is plowed and the plots staked and numbered. The fields are generally ready by mid to late May, weather permitting. We will be holding a meeting on Thursday April 30th from 7:30 to 8:30 pm at the DPW Conservation Commission on Old Lancaster Rd. The meeting is to explain the updated rules and regulations that are being drafted by the Conservation Commission. Plots will be available to the public on a first come, first served basis on the 30th.<\/p>\n
