{"id":2035,"date":"2023-09-22T11:14:07","date_gmt":"2023-09-22T15:14:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sudbury.ma.us\/councilonaging\/?p=2035"},"modified":"2025-11-13T11:07:52","modified_gmt":"2025-11-13T16:07:52","slug":"property-tax-work-off-program","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sudbury.ma.us\/councilonaging\/2023\/09\/22\/property-tax-work-off-program\/","title":{"rendered":"Property Tax Work-Off Program"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Property Tax Work-Off Program provides a $2,000 property tax abatement to eligible Sudbury residents who provide 133 hours of work to a Town department.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Property Tax Work-off Program is for Sudbury residents who are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>age 60 and over OR<\/li>\n<li>veterans of any age<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>AND<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>own and live in a home in Sudbury<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Those with skills and interests applicable to an open job may be placed and can earn up to a $2,000 property tax abatement for 133 hours of work.
