Sudbury was again one of the top ten such grants issued this year.&nbsp; Based upon Sudbury&rsquo;s FY09 CPA surcharge revenue of $1,436,010, the state funding comes to $539,676, and brings the total FY09 CPA revenue to $1,975,686.&nbsp;These funds are part of the roughly $27.2 million that the Massachusetts Department of Revenue distributed on October 8<sup>th<\/sup> to the 135 communities currently participating in the CPA.&nbsp; The average grant was $201,625.&nbsp; Of the top ten grants, only one other went to a town of similar size (Weston).&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">\n\t<span>This is the 7<sup>th<\/sup> year that Sudbury has received&nbsp;funds from the state Community Preservation Fund.
