{"id":41,"date":"2014-07-15T16:21:57","date_gmt":"2014-07-15T16:21:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sudbury.ma.us\/emmcp\/propex\/"},"modified":"2018-02-01T15:40:42","modified_gmt":"2018-02-01T20:40:42","slug":"propex","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/sudbury.ma.us\/emmcp\/propex\/","title":{"rendered":"Process to Exclude Property from Public Area Wide Pesticide Applications"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>State Regulation 333 CMR<span class=\"GramE\">:<\/span><span class=\"GramE\">13:03<\/span> provides a method for homeowners to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mass.gov\/how-to\/exclusion-from-wide-area-pesticides-application\"><b>exclude their property from public area wide pesticide applications<\/b>.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>In 2017, the Massachusetts Pesticide Board approved new regulations governing the pesticide exclusion process. &nbsp;The new regulations eliminated the March 1st deadline and removed city and town clerks as the filing destination for the exclusion forms. &nbsp;The new regulations specify that residents can file for exclusion at any time during the year and the exclusion will become effective 14 days from the receipt of the request. &nbsp;Exclusion requests can be made to the Massachusetts Dept. of Agricultural Resources (MDAR) either by first class mail or by filing electronically on the MDAR website.<\/p>\n<p>Information and registration forms for the new pesticide exclusion process, can be accessed online at&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mass.gov\/how-to\/exclusion-from-wide-area-pesticides-application\">https:\/\/www.mass.gov\/how-to\/exclusion-from-wide-area-pesticides-application<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Questions&nbsp;regarding the exclusion process can be answered by calling Juan Carlos Gutierrez at the Mass.
