A joint meeting of the Executive Committee of the East Middlesex Mosquito Control Commission and the Suffolk County Mosquito Control Commission is scheduled for Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at 1 PM. The meeting will be held in the auditorium of the Hinton State Laboratory Institute located at 305 South St. in Jamaica Plain.<\/p>\n
Topics to be discussed include a review of the Superintendent’s job description and salary range, the hiring of a new Administrative Assistant and the acceptance of an early retirement incentive by a member of the Field staff. There will be a review of the FY 2017 and FY 2018 budget impacts due to personnel changes and new one-year lease extensions for both East Middlesex and Suffolk County buildings. There will be a report on a plan to update the East Middlesex MCP’s Five-year Development plan which will be expanded to include the Suffolk County MCP. The updated plan will be used to set goals related to the proposed merger, future building leases, staff size and Project capabilities. The Commissions will also vote on extending the term of the Memorandum of Agreement between the two mosquito control projects through 2017. <\/p>\n
