The\u00a0 Fairbank Community Center Task Force, in partnership with\u00a0The Permanent Building Committee (PBC) has been working with Boston design firm, Bargmann Hendrie + Archetype, Inc., to develop conceptual designs for a multigenerational Community Center. The preliminary designs, and supporting operating plan,\u00a0has been\u00a0completed and was presented on March 26th in a well-attended public Forum.\u00a0 The PowerPoint presentation presented that evening is available for your review and is attached to this story. The Design team\u00a0heard from Sudbury residents about pros and cons with the preliminary design concepts and construction costs associated with those options.\u00a0Bargmann Hendrie + Archetype, Inc will be finalizing the feasibility Study in April and\u00a0the final report \u00a0will be posted on the Task Force web site.<\/p>\n
The Task Force, PBC and Town will continue efforts to insure\u00a0all citizens have a \u00a0chance to share their views, input and ideas during the design of the new Community Center.
