The Town of Sudbury Parks and Recreation Department is currently hiring for the position of Lifeguard. This is a part-time position responsible for supporting the safe and effective daily operation of the Atkinson Pool, an 8 lane, 25-yard lap pool with a separate diving well located at the recently renovated Fairbank Community Center.<\/p>\n
Lifeguards are responsible for monitoring the pool, dive well and surrounding areas for safety, enforcing pool rules, responding to aquatic and facility emergencies, assisting with water quality monitoring, and helping to maintain a safe, clean, professional, and welcoming aquatic environment for patrons and staff. <\/p>\n
The position requires recognized Lifeguard Certification, including current CPR\/AED and First Aid certification appropriate for professional rescuers.<\/p>\n
The anticipated hiring range for this position is $17.00-$22.00\/hour<\/strong>; starting pay rate is based on qualifications. Evening and weekend hours required.
