Join us for this sensory rich program in which participants will create textural and tasty seasonal projects from scratch using herbs and other garden grown materials. Participants will be creating projects using plants chosen to emphasize a variety of color, taste, scent, texture and sound to achieve as meaningful a sensory experience as possible! Parents do not need to participate but are asked to remain on site.
Oct. 30: Halloween Horticulture – Participants will use pumpkins, flowers, seeds, & other natural materials from our gardens to create beautiful pumpkin creations for your home!
Nov. 20: Culinary Horticulture – Using dried herbs from our gardens, participants will create their own mulled cider spice mix & a hearty herb mixture for Thanksgiving stuffing!
