The MDAR/MDPH will update the spray map daily. Please keep in mind that map preparation takes time and may result in some delays in posting.

Although the aerial spray is considered necessary to reduce human risk, it will not eliminate it. Residents must continue to protect themselves from mosquito bites by staying indoors during peak mosquito hours, applying insect repellent when outdoors, draining standing water where mosquitoes breed, and repairing screens in doors and windows. Residents should also take steps to protect their domestic animals from mosquito bites.

UPDATE 8/26/19: Due to weather conditions last night (Sunday, August 25th) in Worcester and Middlesex counties, aerial mosquito spraying could not be conducted.

MDAR expects weather conditions to be favorable for aerial mosquito spraying to begin this evening (weather-dependent) starting at 7:30 p.m. and continuing over several evenings.

Although EEE still hasn’t been found in Sudbury, it has been found close by and is continuing to spread. The state and municipalities are making every effort to reduce risk. Please see attachment below for dates, health risks, precautions and  links to pertinent government websites.

The updated spray map can be found here. https://massnrc.org/spray-map/middlesex-worcester.htm.
