The Sudbury Park & Recreation is seeking a qualified member to fill a vacancy on the committee. This is an elected position, however as a committee member has resigned, the Park and Recreation Commission and Board of Selectmen seek to appoint an interim Commissioner whose term will be in effect through the end of May 2020 Annual Town Meeting. A new member to the commission will be elected at 2020 Annual Town Election.

The Park and Recreation Commission consist of five residents elected by the town voters. The commission is a policy-making board responsible to the town for providing year-round high quality indoor and outdoor recreation activities for children and adults. The commission works closely with the Park & Recreation Department.

Meeting Schedule
The committee meets approximately one – two times per month in the evening, with additional meetings scheduled as needed. Meetings are held at the Fairbank Community Center.
