Unfortunately, as with any construction project, there are disruptions ahead. As we eagerly await our <a href=\"https:\/\/sudbury.ma.us\/selectboard\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/260\/2022\/03\/2022-0203-SFCC-Presentation-Plan.pdf?version=6c3fa7bbb907203794af7231ede35602\">upgraded Community Center<\/a> (see the latest plan <a href=\"https:\/\/sudbury.ma.us\/selectboard\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/260\/2022\/03\/2022-0203-SFCC-Presentation-Plan.pdf?version=6c3fa7bbb907203794af7231ede35602\">here<\/a>), we ask for your patience during the construction of this large project. As always, we will work to minimize disruptions to residents as much as possible. This is necessary as the Fairbank construction area (shown below) will be located on the grounds typically used for camp operation. As the camp uses the pool and Fairbank\u2019s indoor spaces during inclement weather, an area in close proximity to the Community Center was needed. In accordance with safety protocols, the camp operation area is open only to campers and staff during camp hours. We apologize for this inconvenience and thank you for your patience during construction.<\/p>\n<p>The areas shown in <strong>red<\/strong> below will be used for Summer Camp operations and closed to the public, during the following dates and times:<\/p>\n<p>July 5 \u2013 August 12, 2022<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Monday \u2013 Friday<\/li>\n<li>8:30am \u2013 3:30pm<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Please click <a href=\"https:\/\/sudbury.ma.us\/parkrecreationcommission\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/324\/2022\/06\/Area-Playgrounds-Summer-2022.pdf?version=2f77c15eeaff817b45eb56fd39f6d848\"><u>here<\/u> <\/a>for a list of <a href=\"https:\/\/sudbury.ma.us\/parkrecreationcommission\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/324\/2022\/06\/Area-Playgrounds-Summer-2022.pdf?version=2f77c15eeaff817b45eb56fd39f6d848\">Area Playgrounds<\/a><\/strong>. <em>Updated 6\/29\/22<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>All areas will be open to the public during evenings and weekends.<\/p>\n<p>4 large tents with picnic tables will be available for use by the public outside of camp hours. Installation of the tents at Haskell is expected on Monday, June 27.<\/p>\n<p>Please note, Camp Counselor training will take place underneath the tents on June 29-30, 2022. Other updates regarding construction impacts on Atkinson Pool, including and short-term closure, are coming soon.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>While these changes are temporary, we recognize that they will be disruptive for many.
