{"id":70,"date":"2009-02-10T09:05:03","date_gmt":"2009-02-10T09:05:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sudbury.ma.us\/police\/2009\/02\/10\/suspects-in-lotus-blossom-break-in-arrested\/"},"modified":"2009-02-10T09:05:03","modified_gmt":"2009-02-10T09:05:03","slug":"suspects-in-lotus-blossom-break-in-arrested","status":"public-archive","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sudbury.ma.us\/police\/2009\/02\/10\/suspects-in-lotus-blossom-break-in-arrested\/","title":{"rendered":"Suspects in Lotus Blossom break-in arrested"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Sudbury Police charged two Boston men in connection with a Dec. 30, 2008, break-in at Lotus Blossom restaurant.<BR><BR>Police arrested Khanh Van Tang, 40, of 100 Sydney St., Apt. 2, Dorchester last Wednesday on a warrant out of Framingham District Court for breaking and entering at night with intent to commit a felony, larceny over $250, wanton destruction of property and conspiracy.<BR><BR>Last Thursday, police charged Yong Qiu Huang, 35, of 86B West Brookline St., Boston, with the same offenses. He will be summoned to court.<BR><BR>An alarm at Lotus Blossom on Dec. 30 alerted police who discovered cut phone lines and forced entry at the rear of the restaurant. An undisclosed amount of a cash was missing.<BR><BR>Sudbury police called Wayland and Concord police, who had worked on similar break-ins.<BR><BR>&#8220;Using intelligence from Wayland and Concord, we developed two suspects,&#8221; said Sudbury police Lt. Scott Nix.<BR><BR>Police from the three towns searched Tang\u2019s home Wednesday night.<BR><BR>&#8220;We found evidentiary items that we feel linked Tang to the breaking and entering,&#8221; said Nix.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sudbury Police charged two Boston men in connection with a Dec. 30, 2008, break-in at Lotus Blossom restaurant.
