Although the Sudbury Police Department continues to investigate the dangerous circumstances created by fireworks set off in close proximity to players, students and staff at the Lincoln Sudbury Regional High School football game against Fitchburg High School on October 1st <\/sup>,we felt it important to provide what we have developed to this point. Early in the investigation, a potential suspect was developed through various sources with much of the initial information being evaluated\/developed through rumors. We sorted through numerous statements identifying pertinent witnesses with direct knowledge. As the result of information\/evidence gathered to this point, Sudbury Detectives\/Officers executed a search warrant at a Sudbury residence on Thursday, October 7th<\/sup> recovering evidence relative to our investigation. As well, we are seeking charges against a juvenile student who we believe was the sole perpetrator of the incident. These charges include:<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n It should be noted that due to Criminal Justice Reform Laws, there are certain charges that a juvenile cannot be criminally charged. These include Disturbing the Peace, Disturbing a School Assembly, and the Possession of Fireworks.
