WHEREAS: <\/strong>although Zach passed away from cancer at the age of 16, his legacy continues to inspire individuals and communities through the principles known as his Rules for Life; and<\/p>\n WHEREAS: <\/strong>May 3, Zach\u2019s birthday, serves as a meaningful opportunity to honor his life and legacy; and<\/p>\n WHEREAS: <\/strong>these values \u2014 including compassion, generosity, resilience, and choosing to do good for others \u2014 strengthen families, schools, and the broader community; and<\/p>\n WHEREAS: <\/strong>the nonprofit organization Zach\u2019s Bridge was established in Zach\u2019s memory to support families facing childhood cancer and to inspire others to lead with empathy, connection, and service; and<\/p>\n WHEREAS: <\/strong>\u201cBe Like Zach Day\u201d encourages individuals of all ages to honor Zach\u2019s legacy by performing acts of kindness and service in their daily lives;<\/p>\n Zach Wall<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n that I, Lisa V.
