The current hot weather is an extreme event for New England<\/st1:place> . The elderly, children, pets and those who work and play outside need to take special precautions to prevent it from becoming a serious<\/SPAN><\/FONT> <\/SPAN><\/FONT>life<\/SPAN><\/FONT> <\/SPAN><\/FONT>threatening situation.<\/SPAN><\/FONT><\/P>

<\/SPAN><\/FONT>If your home gets too hot, and you are looking  for cooler places to go in Town during the heat of the day, here are some suggestions: <\/SPAN><\/FONT><\/P>

The Goodnow Library, Monday through Wednesday <\/SPAN><\/FONT>(9-9), Thursday and Friday (9-5) and Saturday (9-1).  <\/SPAN><\/FONT><\/P>

The <\/SPAN><\/FONT>Senior<\/SPAN><\/FONT><\/ns0:PlaceName> <\/SPAN><\/FONT>Center, Monday<\/SPAN><\/FONT> <\/SPAN><\/FONT>through Friday <\/SPAN><\/FONT><\/ns0:PlaceType><\/ns0:place><\/SPAN><\/FONT>(<\/SPAN><\/FONT><\/ns0:PlaceType><\/ns0:place>9- 4).  The Senior<\/st1:PlaceName> Center<\/st1:PlaceType><\/st1:place> van is available to seniors and will pick you up and bring you home again. <\/SPAN><\/FONT> <\/SPAN><\/FONT><\/SPAN><\/FONT><\/P>

<\/SPAN><\/FONT>The Musketahquid<\/st1:PlaceName> Community Center<\/st1:PlaceType><\/st1:place> will be open Wednesday (7-5).  <\/SPAN><\/FONT><\/SPAN><\/FONT><\/P>
