On December 6, 2022, the Sudbury Select Board voted 4-1 to approve the Town Manager Contract between Andrew J. Sheehan and the Town of Sudbury. Andrew (who prefers to go by Andy) will assume the position of Sudbury Town Manager on February 13, 2023.<\/p>\n

Andrew joins Sudbury after seven years as Town Administrator in Middleton, preceded by five years as Town Administrator in Townsend, with 29 total years of experience in Massachusetts local government. Mr. Sheehan\u2019s cover letter and resume can be found starting on page 20 of the November 1, 2022 Select Board Agenda Materials<\/a>. He will be Sudbury\u2019s sixth Town Manager.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Consulting firm Community Paradigm Associates (CPA) conducted a thorough Town Manager search, which incorporated extensive public input. This included a resident survey and a community forum to solicit public input into the desired qualifications, skills, and experience for candidates, as well as two facilitated public Q&A forums with the three finalist candidates. A total of 26 applicants were evaluated by Community Paradigm.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The Select Board interviewed three finalists on Nov. 12, and voted to choose Sheehan after discussion on Nov. 15, 2022.
