A notice from the Metro West Free Medical Program:

We are the community’s free clinic, providing free healthcare to those who are uninsured and underinsured.

Each year we provide school physicals for about 150 children who are new to school and who don’t yet have health insurance to cover a pediatrician visit elsewhere.

MWFMP offers care through a walk-in evening program on select Tuesdays at Congregation Beth El, located at 105 Hudson Road in Sudbury.  Patient registration begins at 5:30 pm.  No appointment is needed and we have the appropriate Massachusetts School physical forms available.  For children in need of vaccinations, we will work with the family to identify an option in their town. Last year we were quite busy right before school started, so this year we are holding a Back To School Night on August 22nd. That night we will only be offering school physicals to try to limit the waiting time for families and avoid having children in the waiting room with sicker patients.

Our social services and health insurance volunteers can also assist with a Mass Health application and other community resources.
