As noted in the flyer for Zero to Three:

“On May 8th, babies and families from all 50 states and the District of Columbia will again descend on Capitol Hill for ZERO TO THREE’s second annual Strolling ThunderTM event! The families will share their stories with their Members of Congress and urge them to Think Babies and Act – for stronger families, vibrant communities, and a prosperous country.

Do you know a family who would be excited to travel to Washington, DC with their baby or toddler and share their story with their Members of Congress and staff? Then we need your help!

There is no experience necessary, but we’d like participants to see themselves as advocates – whether that means speaking up for their child’s needs, or contacting an elected official about an issue. ZERO TO THREE will cover all travel costs for a parent, their child under age three, and an adult travel companion to assist with child care. We want families to be as comfortable as possible, and will provide guidance, training and support to families before and during their trip.”

If you know a family who may be interested, please have them apply by Friday, February 23.
