There will be food, children&#8217;s games, dancing, live music, pony rides, a petting zoo, a flower-arranging contest, a baking contest with local chefs as judges, and so much MORE! These two events will have similar needs for volunteers. We will need help in some of the following areas:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022Assist with set-up before and on the event day<\/p>\n<p>\u2022Monitor parking lots<\/p>\n<p>\u2022Act as crossing guards (adults)<\/p>\n<p>\u2022Guide visitors<\/p>\n<p>\u2022Assist with accessibility (adults driving golf carts)<\/p>\n<p>\u2022Supervise games and races (groups of 2, 4 or 6 persons)<\/p>\n<p>\u2022Clean up during and at end of the event<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Needless to say, we want as many children and adults as possible to participate in the activities of the day. Therefore, the larger the number of volunteers who step forward, the shorter the shifts will be, allowing the volunteers to also partake in the fun. If you, as an organization, wish to volunteer to oversee one of the above or other activities, please contact the Committee. Individual volunteers are also welcome. The logo design was the winner of a logo contest conducted by the Committee last fall. The logo was designed by Sudbury native and Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School graduate (2008) David Alderman. The logo is based on the granite road markers found throughout the town and region.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The souvenirs include T-shirts with the logo (blue on white shirts and white on light blue shirts), coffee mugs, car magnets, water bottles and beige baseball caps with the logo in blue.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Our newest souvenir is the<em> Sudbury Celebrates 375: An Anniversary Coloring Book<\/em><em>. <\/em>Sudbury native and Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School graduate (2006), Robin DeSantis, has created sixteen lovely drawings to help you to discover some people and places in Sudbury\u2019s colorful history.
