This celebration of world culture and diversity for people of all ages features three stages of free international and local performances, ethnic food sold by area restaurants, exhibitions, artisans, and hands-on children\u2019s activities and crafts. The event is free and open to the public.  <\/P><P>Performers on the main stage include: South American dancing, singing and storytelling by the legendary Inca Son; Chinese dance by the Greater Boston Chinese Cultural Council; Indian dance by the Triveni Dance School; and Irish fiddling by the Conway Brothers.  Music on the Sudbury Stage will be provided by Steve LaBonte, Ellen Hoffman, and the Wayside Chorus of Sweet Adelines.  The Children\u2019s Pavilion will feature Dancers\u2019 Workshop, Mass. Gymnastics Center, Major League Soccer, and others.  The Sudbury Savoyards, a theater group dedicated primarily to performing the works of Gilbert &#038; Sullivan, will also make a special appearance.<\/P><P>International dishes and desserts will be sold throughout the event by such restaurants as: Campo de Fiori of Weston (Italian), Little Pusan of Maynard (Korean), Oishii Too of Sudbury (Japanese), Pho Pasteur (Vietnamese), Rasoi of Framingham (Indian), and Sweet Peppers of Sudbury (Thai). They will be joined by about 60 other exhibitors, including nonprofit organizations and businesses with an international connection. Limited exhibitor space is still available.<\/p>\n<p>Sudbury Day is made possible in part by a grant from the Sudbury Foundation. \u201cThe support from organizations like The Sudbury Foundation allows us to make this a unique celebration of the diversity of our friends and neighbors, \u201c says festival founder and organizer Aruna Pundit. Adds Fredericka Tanner, Executive Director of the Sudbury Foundation, \u201cThis event will help engender a spirit of community pride and belonging, which is the primary goal of our grant making.\u201d<\/P><P>Corporate sponsors include Warren Graphics, Sudbury Farms, Simply Direct, Shaw\u2019s Supermarkets, Party Round the World, and A-1 Portable Toilets.<\/P><P>The event will be held rain (indoors, if necessary) or shine.
