She is a team player, always keeps a positive attitude, and frequently lends support to other departments, both physically and emotionally.

It’s been said that Beth is the “glue that keeps the Health Department together and her sense of humor is second to none!”

She has brought joy, laughter, creativity, and cleverness into the workspace especially when people needed it the most. She heightens the morale on her team and also in the building. Beth has worked many evenings and weekends to run special programs in order to keep on top of the increased demand.

During COVID, Beth took the lead role in the search for PPE’s, maintaining inventory, working with other organizations in need of these items, and ensuring that the community was protected as much as possible during this time. She cares about residents’ needs and always provides a high level of customer service.

Beth played a key role in organizing and managing the COVID/Flu clinics and made sure that those events ran smoothly, even in the face of supply chain and provider-related challenges. Without Beth, there is no way the Board of Health Department would have been able to keep up with the high increases in demand during the pandemic.

Prior Employee of the Year Winners

2021: Deb Galloway (Supervisor)

2021: Brian Powell (Employee)

2020: Bill Murphy (Supervisor)

2020: Al Hutchinson (Employee)

2019: Shawna Risotti

2018: Michael Lucas

2017: Phyllis Schilp

2016: Chris Felt

2015: Doug Stone

2014: Ken Anderson

2013: Kathy Plante

2012: Marilyn Reiman

2011: Deb Greeno

2010: Peter Anderson

2009: Brian Powell

2008: Mary G.
