{"id":981,"date":"2018-08-22T09:39:50","date_gmt":"2018-08-22T13:39:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sudbury.ma.us\/townmanager\/?p=981"},"modified":"2018-08-22T18:28:05","modified_gmt":"2018-08-22T22:28:05","slug":"sudbury-receives-excellence-in-financial-reporting-award","status":"public-archive","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sudbury.ma.us\/townmanager\/2018\/08\/22\/sudbury-receives-excellence-in-financial-reporting-award\/","title":{"rendered":"Sudbury Receives Excellence in Financial Reporting Award"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In July, the Town of Sudbury received the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting by the Government Finance Officers Association for its <a href=\"https:\/\/sudbury.ma.us\/finance\/?p=340\">FY2017 Comprehensive Annual Financial Report<\/a> (CAFR).<\/p>\n<p>The Certificate of Achievement is the highest form of recognition in the area of governmental accounting and reporting, and its attainment is a significant accomplishment for a municipality.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m honored that the Town received this designation again this year,\u201d said Melissa Rodrigues, Town Manager. \u201cOur Finance team is top notch and deserves our recognition and praise for the incredible work they do all year long.
