FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Sudbury, MA: Share your vision and join the Sudbury Day planning committee. The purpose of this festival is to foster understanding of the world and our community’s varied cultures through an annual day-long event that features food, entertainment, and activities from around the world. Last year, over 3,000 people enjoyed the festivities and participated in the various activities.

Join other volunteers, exhibitors and sponsors for this year’s festival at Sudbury Town Hall on Thursday, April 29th. This planning meeting will begin at 7:00 p.m. with a review of the 2003 Sudbury Day Festival. This will be followed by an open forum to discuss plans for 2004, including logistical changes, potential entertainment, and expansion of multi-cultural activities.

Make your personal commitment to volunteer for the Sudbury Day Committee. Each volunteer will receive two passports to the Children’s Pavilion (value $20). Now is also the time to start planning your organization’s involvement.

The Sudbury Day Festival is scheduled for Saturday, September 18, 2004, from 12 noon – 8 p.m. It is being organized by the Sudbury Day Committee, a not-for-profit town committee
