Sudbury Day Committee is Now Accepting Exhibitor and Vendor Applications
On Saturday, September 16, 2006, from noon — 5 pm, Sudbury Town Center will be the center of it all as Sudbury Day takes a Journey to the Equator. This wide array of countries including Gabon, Republic of Congo, Democratic Republic of Congo, Uganda, Kenya, Somalia, Indonesia, Columbia, Brazil and Peru, encompasses a great part of the population in the Metrowest area. The diversity of these cultures will be celebrated through this 5th annual festival of food, entertainment, arts and children’s activities from around the world.
The Sudbury Day Committee is now accepting exhibitor and vendor applications for The Marketplace and International Food Pavilion. Applications can be downloaded at www.sudbury.ma.us/committees/sudburyday. They are also available offline at Sudbury Town Hall. The deadline for submission is June 1, 2006. Space is limited, so early reservations are recommended.
Participants are also encouraged to incorporate the Journey to the Equator into their exhibits and activities. Those who would like to discuss their involvement are invited to contact the Sudbury Day Committee by phone or e-mail at sudburyday@town.sudury.ma.us
The Sudbury Day Festival has grown over the past four years into the town’s biggest cultural celebration. The event’s aim is to bring people of all ages and cultures together in order to build a stronger sense of community and a greater awareness of the people we live among.
