As we await certification of our Fiscal Year 2007 triennial revaluation, we encourage property owners to review their proposed assessment during this public disclosure.
Property owners are invited to present their questions or comments about the new assessments at this time. Public disclosure dates: November 16, 2006 through November 22, 2006. The Assessors Office has extended Office Hours until 7:00 PM on Monday November 20, 2006 and Tuesday November 21, 2006. We are well aware of the decreasing real estate market in Massachusetts. However, we are required to base our new values on the calendar year 2005 real estate market. The FY 07 values must represent the Fair Market Value of that time period. Please keep this in mind as you review the value that has been assessed on your property.
