When:  September 3, 2020

Special Olympics Day at the Big E Adult Down Syndrome BasketballVirtual Forum, September 3rd, 2020, 2 – 3 p.m., with the  Therapeutic Recreation division of Lexington, MA, Recreation and Community Programs, the Lexington Human Services Department, and Phoebe Goodman of the Dana Home Foundation.
* Open to those without disabilities, those with disabilities, caregivers, parents, providers, case managers, and more.
* Hear a brief presentation on what inclusion is, the importance of inclusion in senior programs and potential barriers to inclusion.
* After the presentation, audience members will have the opportunity to share their thoughts on inclusive programming, questions or concerns with inclusive programming and suggestions for senior programming.
* All audience members have thoughts or suggestions on adult and senior adaptive or specialized programming, those ideas will be welcomed.
