Aside from the many social, recreational, fitness, arts & crafts, cultural and intellectual programs offered, the Senior Center also provides space, support, and resources to people living with various disabilities, whether visible or invisible.

Thu May 2….Getting Around Using Uber and Lyft Workshop

Fri May 3…FitWalk in the gym (safe, even surface) – every Fri 12:15 to 1:00 PM

Mon May 6…Low Vision Support Group, Transportation to Town Meeting

Tue May 7…Blood Pressure Clinic screening- every Tue 8:45 to 10:45 AM

Thu May 9…Making Memories Cafe (dementia social support luncheon)

Fri May 10…Hearing Clinic – complimentary screenings

Mon May 13…Caregiver Support Group for memory loss caregivers

…and here are some of the ongoing services that may be of particular use to people living with disabilities:

Affordable meals delivered for those unable to leave home; free nutrition consultation; variety of affordable transportation services by arrangement; 20-minutes free legal consultations monthly; free consultation on health insurance monthly; various handy in-home services like library book pickup and drop off and sand buckets in winter; and the ever popular medical equipment lending closet twice weekly.
