The Town of Sudbury, Massachusetts, represented by the Town Manager, the awarding authority, invites sealed bids from Contractors prequalified by the MassDOT with a class of work of Highway Construction for the project with an estimate value of $500,000:

In accordance with M.G.L. c.30, Section 39M, the Town of Sudbury seeks sealed bids for the 2023 Complete Streets Intersection Improvements Project. The work consists Complete Streets Intersection Improvements at Concord Road/Union Avenue/Old Lancaster Road; Old Lancaster Road/Peakham Road; Hudson Road/Fairbanks Road. Work includes excavation, milling & resurfacing, pavement construction, installation of granite curb, granite edging, HMA sidewalk, cement concrete curb ramps, Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacon (RRFB), minor drainage improvements, removal of existing pavement; installation of stamped asphalt thermoplastic imprint system; removing and resetting wooden guardrail, removing and resetting balance stone wall, loaming & seeding, pavement markings and signs; provisions for safety controls and signing for construction operations.

Bid documents may be obtained online at www.biddocs.com (may be viewed electronically and hardcopy requested) on February 16, 2023 at 8:00 AM.
A refundable bid document deposit of $50/set is required, payable to BidDocs Online, Inc. Deposits may be paid electronically or must be made with a certified or cashier’s check. Mailing fee is $40/set (or $65 per set for UPS overnight), (non-refundable), payable to BidDocs Online, Inc. (electronically or certified or cashier’s check).

THIS PROJECT IS BEING ELECTRONICALLY BID AND HARD COPY BIDS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
Each bid shall be accompanied by a deposit in the form of treasurers’ check, certified check, bid bond, or cashier’s check issued by a responsible bank or trust company, payable to the Town of Sudbury.
An optional Pre-Bid Conference will be held at the Town of Sudbury Department of Public Works in the Engineering Conference Room at 275 Old Lancaster Road, Sudbury, MA on February 28, 2023 at 2 PM to review the project.
All Bids shall be submitted electronically online at www.biddocs.com no later than the date and time specified above.
