Parking Ban In Effect Until Tuesday, February 24th at 6:00am
SUDBURY WINTER ADVISORY ALERT:
In preparation for Sunday’s Winter Storm Event, the Town of Sudbury is putting into effect a Parking Ban pursuant of: § 270-1Parking that interferes with snow removal prohibited.
No person shall park any vehicle in the Town of Sudbury so that it interferes with the work of removing or plowing snow or removing ice from any way within the Town. The Town of Sudbury Director of Public Works is authorized to remove, or cause to be removed, to some convenient place, any vehicle interfering with such work. The owner of such vehicle shall be liable for the cost of such removal and the storage charges, if any, resulting therefrom.
Failure to comply with the Parking Ban notice will result in violations of fines and/or removal of the vehicle at the owners expense.
This Parking Ban is in effect today February 22nd at 10:00 PM until Tuesday February 24th at 6:00 AM.
As the winter storm is expected to impact Sudbury, our DPW crews will be out around the clock treating and plowing roadways to keep them as safe and passable as possible throughout the storm. This will be a large, ongoing operation, and road conditions may change quickly as the storm progresses.
We kindly ask residents to please be patient as crews work throughout the community. Rest assured, we will be doing everything we can to maintain operations for all emergency services.
If you are able to stay off the roads, please do so. Thank you for your cooperation and continued support as we respond to this weather event.
