Would there be a connection fee to the Town of Wayland or is it more cost-effective overtime to install a sewer infrastructure further up Route 20?

Answer

Only limited discussions have taken place regarding an inter-municipal Agreement with the Town of Wayland. These have been limited to the technical feasibility of such a connection. There would likely be a connection fee to Wayland, which would be negotiated in the future should the Town approach this solution. The lack of property density along Route 20, including the length of pipe to connect to the existing system, would likely make connecting to the Sudbury system more costly.
