Sealed bids for the DPW Roof Replacement Project will be received at the Office of the Combined Director of Facilities, 275 Old Lancaster Road, Sudbury, MA 01776 until 12 pm., March 6, 2024, at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read.
All project documents including specifications and bid forms may be obtained electronically from the Office of the Combined Facilities Director by email request to DuranS@sudbury.ma.us or by telephone to 978-440-5466.
A Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting and Site Visit will be held at the DPW Building commencing in the Conference Room on February 21, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. Contractor’s questions are due no later than February 28, 2024, at 4 pm.
Selection of the DCAMM certified contractor will be based upon bidder qualifications, including evidence of past performance in similar projects, and bid price. The contract will be awarded to the bidder deemed by the awarding authority to be the lowest responsible and eligible bidder.
The on-site construction phase is expected to commence when weather is conducive to the materials being applied and to be substantially completed by August 1, 2024.
The Town reserves the right to waive any informalities, to accept or reject, in whole or in part any or all bids, or take whatever other action may be deemed to be in the best interest of the Town.
