Digital Accessibility Office Hours
Get answers to your digital accessibility questions (including material covered in the Digital Accessibility Training Hub), or observe and learn from others. This event is for Sudbury staff and committee members.
Schedule
Wednesdays and Fridays (beginning on 11 September 2026) with two sessions on each day. Not held on holidays observed by Sudbury.
- The first session runs from 9:30 AM until 10:00 AM (the preceding 30 minutes before the Mass.gov ACCESS Accessibility Office Hours).
- The second session runs from 12:00 PM (noon) until 12:30 PM (the following 30 minutes after the Mass.gov ACCESS Accessibility Office Hours).
- If you are planning on attending the beginning of the second session (around noon), consider attending the end of Mass.gov ACCESS Accessibility Office Hours and either reserve a time slot or attend on standby, as you will have access to a broader panel of experts from the ACCESS team and many of our staff will already be there.
How to Attend
- Sign up for a free basic Zoom user account (learn how to sign up and activate your Zoom user account). It’s recommended (but not required) that you use an email address at
sudbury.ma.us(which can be a committee email list) orminlib.netbecause it becomes a requirement to attend the Mass.gov ACCESS Accessibility Office Hours.-
Troubleshooting
Since the Zoom sign up and event registration flows have fraud verification checks, if you are encountering problems, consider completing the sign up or event registration steps via the web site (not an installed Zoom application) using a high-authenticity device and operating system without using network proxy servers or browser add-ons, such as smartphone platforms or Windows in S mode.
-
- Sign in to your Zoom user account, then use the link in the following “Join Link” section to be redirected to Zoom. No registration is needed.

Meeting Format and Tips
A camera is optional, but a microphone is recommended for conversation. Prior to joining, you can test your equipment with Zoom.
Please use the Q & A pane to post your question, and be prepared to share your screen with your project. There is no registration process for time slots. If you share a single window instead of the entire screen, then dialog boxes from that application may not be shared; if you share the entire screen, Windows users can create multiple desktops to hide other windows from being included.
If there are no pending questions, we may hold a show-and-tell segment (but please interrupt if you have a question), or we may wait on standby and multitask. If you join while the meeting is in progress, check the meeting topic for the current status.
If you join the first session and we recommend taking your question to the Mass.gov ACCESS Accessibility Office Hours, then you may want to preemptively register for the Mass.gov ACCESS Accessibility Office Hours meeting series beforehand.
