The Open Space and Recreation Plan Committee has been working on an updated Open Space and Recreation Plan, portions of which will be unveiled and discussed with the public at a forum scheduled for Thursday, October 18, 2007 at 7:30 pm at the Goodnow Library.  The draft list of priority parcels will be reviewed, as well as the Plan’s goals and objectives.

The Open Space and Recreation Plan is an important Town document that will be used in deciding how Community Preservation funds will be spent over the next decade on open space acquisition and recreation development, as well as a necessary tool for securing state and federal grants.  Community feedback is a required component of the Plan.  The committee hopes to reach a large segment of the population in its development of the Plan, by using an on-line survey, currently available at sudbury.ma.us/osrpc and with this public forum.
